Business activity raises legal questions at every turn, from a contract about to be signed to a board decision or a debt that is never paid. I support SMEs, family businesses and their directors in that routine and, above all, when things get complicated.

It is almost always cheaper to prevent than to litigate, so I put weight on early guidance and on reading a contract before it is signed, while the dispute can still be anticipated.

When a dispute comes anyway, I handle it with the discipline of a large firm and the closeness of a small one, and you deal with me directly.

Before acting I check the applicable rules and case law against their source, watch the deadlines and map out the strategy.

The line with criminal law is never far from a business matter (breach of fiduciary duty under article 252 of the Spanish Criminal Code, or the punishable insolvencies of articles 259 to 261). Keeping it in view from the outset avoids unpleasant surprises, and it is one of the advantages of also handling white-collar crime myself.
