Carles Jiménez, a Spanish lawyer in Barcelona with his own firm since 2013. I handle every matter personally, from the first call to the trial, working without an interpreter in Spanish, Catalan, English and German.
Solving Legal is an independent law firm in Barcelona, founded in 2013. I advise and defend individuals, SMEs and family businesses, above all when things get complicated, and you deal with me directly rather than with an intermediary.
Each matter is prepared for that client's own situation, with no templates and no pre-set process. I work in Spanish, Catalan, English and German, which gives the practice a local and an international side at once.
Prevention usually costs less than litigation, so I set particular store by early guidance, before a conflict arises.
I am Carles Jiménez, a Spanish lawyer and the principal of Solving Legal, with more than fifteen years of practice behind the firm. I started as a trainee at a small firm focused on German business clients with interests in Spain, and then trained in the legal department of Landwell-PricewaterhouseCoopers, the legal arm of PwC, advising large family estates and working on corporate transactions. There I also worked in the sports field, advising professional athletes (sponsorship contracts, service agreements and transfers) and professional clubs.
After that I practiced in smaller firms, in direct contact with SMEs and individuals, and advised professional bodies in the healthcare sector on employment and institutional matters, before founding Solving Legal in 2013.
From that path comes a way of working that joins the discipline of the large firms to the closeness of a small practice, with particular attention to prevention, in the conviction that the best outcome is often the conflict that never arises.
Law degree from the University of Barcelona. Master's degrees in Criminal Law and in Sports Law (ICAB).
