Solving Legal is an independent law firm based in Barcelona. Since 2013 we have advised and defended individuals, SMEs and family businesses (especially when things get complicated), with the direct attention of Carles Jiménez and no intermediaries.
We approach every matter individually, without templates or pre-set processes, adapting to each client's specific situation. We work in Spanish, Catalan, English and German, with an outlook that is at once local and international.
We place particular value on early guidance, before a conflict arises: more often than not, prevention costs less (and pays off more) than litigation.
I am Carles Jiménez, a lawyer and the principal of Solving Legal. Behind the firm lie more than fifteen years of practice. I started as a trainee at a small firm focused on German business clients with interests in Spain and then trained in the legal department of Landwell-PricewaterhouseCoopers, the legal arm of PwC, advising large family estates and on corporate transactions. There I also worked in the sports field, advising professional athletes (sponsorship contracts, service agreements and transfers) and professional clubs.
I went on to practise in smaller firms, in direct contact with SMEs and individuals, and served as legal adviser to professional bodies in the healthcare sector, on employment and institutional matters, before founding Solving Legal in 2013.
That path shapes how I work: the discipline of the large firms with the closeness of a small practice, and particular attention to prevention, in the conviction that the best outcome is often the conflict that never arises.
Law degree from the University of Barcelona. Master's degrees in Criminal Law and in Sports Law (ICAB).

I check every citation, whether statutory or case-law, against its official source. What cannot be verified is not taken as good.
My tools, artificial intelligence included, are a supervised aid: strategy and decisions always rest with me.
